چکیده
Purpose: To investigate the efficacy of exogenous recombined human erythropoietin (rhEPO), combined with tranexamic acid (TXA) and administered by different routes, in treatment elderly patients femoral intertrochanteric fractures. Methods: 252 Suzhou Xiangcheng People's Hospital were randomly divided into groups (A, B C), 84 each group. All given rhEPO iron sucrose, followed TXA which was via topical injection at fracture site Group A, intravenous infusion B, C. The perioperative actual total blood loss, occult hematocrit (HCT), platelet count (PLT), hemoglobin (Hb), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) assessed. Also evaluated prothrombin (PT), fibrinogen (FIB), transfusion rate incidence deep venous thrombosis (DVT) lower limbs. results then compared among three groups. Results: Perioperative loss as well lowest C, A. differences statistically significant (p < 0.05). HCT Hb levels highest A 0.05).Conclusion: Multi-modal administration drugs (rhEPO TXA) is effective treating fractures. strategy efficiently reduces rate, also improves relevant biochemical indicators.

At present, individual techniques, including intraoperative acute normovolemic hemodilution, use of tranexamic acid, use of intrathecal morphine, proper positioning, and modification of operative techniques, seem most promising for reducing perioperative blood loss and allogeneic blood transfusion in patients undergoing major spine surgery. Other techniques including preoperative autologous pre...

Background: Allogeneic blood transfusion in patients undergoing total joint arthroplasty (TJA) has been shown tonegatively affect patient outcomes. This study aimed to examine if there is a correlation between operative time and theneed for allogeneic blood transfusions during TJA.Methods: We performed a retrospective review of 866 patients who underwent primary TJA during a o...

BACKGROUND Hidden blood loss is a major concern for patients undergoing hip surgery for intertrochanteric fracture. The objective of this study was to investigate whether tranexamic acid (TXA) could reduce postoperative hidden blood loss in patients undergoing hip surgery for intertrochanteric fracture. METHODS A total of 77 patients with intertrochanteric fracture were enrolled in this rando...
متن کاملEffectiveness of Moderate Acute Normovolemic Hemodilution Combined with Tranexamic Acid on the Reduction of Allogenic Blood Transfusion in Patients Undergoing Off-pump Coronary Artery Bypass
Introduction: There are different approaches to reduce the amount of blood loss and allogenic transfusion in cardiac surgery. Regarding this, the present study aimed to evaluate the blood sparing effect of acute normovolemic hemidilution (ANH) combined with intrao-perative tranexamic acid in patients undergoing off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB).Material and Methods: This study was conduct...
